in short, get some lowering bolts, they range in price from 20-100 bucks. This will allow 2" of drop. Or go with some progressive 422 shocks in the rear. Lowering the front is optional but it's entirely up to you. lowering the front and rear changes the handling.
I have a set of stock shocks with lowering bolts if you'd want to buy them. I took them off my deuce for the progressive 422s. shoot me a PM with offer. saves you the trouble of having to install the bolts which could be a pain.
you can run air too, but there is no place to put a compressor i think.

plenty of room for a compressor. i just put the shotgun shock on mine along with the ricor intiminators and progressive drop in lowering springs in front. unreal how much better the bike handles. that why i asked how much you wanna spend. i have about $2000 between front and rear
Thanks for the information guys. I did a search and I did find a ton of information. When I found what I thought I needed it seemed as if my year model was not included. I did not know if the part would fit or if the 2005 was odd for some reason. I figured someone on here would know for sure what I needed.
I really do not want to spend the extra 2k on a air ride system as I am saving for the next bike. I know they are nice.
Z06elmo, thanks I'll contact you when I get my post count up where I can send you a PM and we'll discuss.
