Hey there all, i am looking for an all black alligator leather left side softail swing arm bag and matching tool roll/bag, I found the seat i wanted but now am having a hard time with these two items, Checked Mother roadCustoms, nothing there and looked at JP, and local dealers, NO luck, any sources would be great, pics would be a bonous. Thanks
A custom boot maker would be your best bet. I have a friend who makes completely bad assed boots, perhaps he'd be interested in making your bag. I'm certain he could match your seat.
I got my bags from Leatherworks and they are top notch!
I had my C&C Solo seat covered in faux Ostrich and it looks great. I wanted a side solo and roll bag covered in the same material. I contacted the nice lady at Leatherworks (can't remember her name) and told her what I was looking for. She then called Chuck at C&C and got the ostrich material from him to cover the bags.
Leatherworks has an excellent product and excellent service.
If you know exactly what material you have (real, faux, etc) then a good company like Leatherworks can match it for you.
Found a guy close to where I am currently that is making me a set (swing arm bag and tool roll) he said he never made them before (hes a tailor by trade, and has recently started making saddles) 100.00$ for the pair if I like them and will tell people where I got them. cant loose really if i dont like them, I dont buy them, if I like them its 100.00 buck.... I'll let all yee know how they turn out. Thanks for the links I might need them if this dont work out.
