Somethings not quite right there, I have to agree with mentor70, its running way too lean. I would richen up the mixture a bit throughout the range to start with. Then maybe get it to a dyno for a bit better fine tuning.

If you didn't have a big fan blowing air over the engine, the pipes (and engine) can heat up in a hurry. As long as it doesn't happen while riding above 20 MPH, it's probably normal.
