Trying to decide on length. 39 or 42 and also year. I have an '06, but want to run the ThunderMax tuner, which requires the O2 sensors. Told I can buy pipes for an '07 to get the O2 bungs, we will see.
My INDY had nothing to do with it. It was the Vendor we were on the phone with that was giving us bad or wrong information about what I wanted. We were on the Samson website, looking at what I want, at the very same time we were on the phone with this Vendor being told they do not have or make what I want. Thats why it was so frustrating. No more Vendor's, direct or nothing.
Who was the vendor? I just bought the 36" slash cuts for my bike and they had a hard time finding them. They called Drag Specialties with no luck and even custom chrome also with no luck. I had to do the research and have them order it right from Samson. None of the major vendors have them listed in their catalogs nor will them get them. Just because the vendor says no, doesn't mean you can't get them. Just takes a little patience and you will get what you want. If you were to scrap the idea, you would probably regret it later.
Honestly, I never did until I started seeing them here and I have only been here for a short time now. I got mine ordered and on the way. Should be here Tuesday. All these forums do is put a hurting on your cash flow... I look at it as a conversation piece. People will either love it or hate it, but it gets them to look at your bike.
My 36" fishtails are coming in on Tue...M&M cycles $675 shipped to my door.
(That's me on the right LOL!!) Really?! I thought my 20% off was a good deal. That is a steal right there! I over paid by $100 because they too have the ones I ordered. Oh well I am still getting them regardless.
