Sounds like you're headed in the right direction. I'm awaiting a big bore kit from Hillside as we speak. Andrews makes good stuff. The cams and aluminum pushrods have given me no trouble. Definitely go with the Andrews Cam tensioner upgrade. May as well do it now.

Yeah figuring out that I may as well do the tensioner upgrade. Only reason I am choosing the s&s easy start cam is I want to keep compression in the case low without doing drilling compression release valves so I don't put to much strain on the started etc..any issues with close to the same set up w/o release valves

The build sounds great, only thing I think that will hold U back a little are the pipes..

The BSL's look and sound good but long pipes are not known for making the best TQ under 3k and above 4.5 K.

Surely the porting will help, but I don't know how much.

Here is the reason I say this..

Son did exactly the same Engine mods on his 07 Deuce and 09 NT..
204's. SE/AC, SERT, Dyno. Same Wrench did all the work at the same dealership and on the same Dyno machine.
Only diff was the PIPES..

Here is his 07 Deuce with BR's 2-2 (Notice that the Value's of the numbers are different on this sheet. So for the TQ U have to come in from the right side only)

Here is the 09 NT with BSL's..

Point to look at is the Br's 2-2's made 87#'s of TQ Vs the BSL's 70# of TQ at 2500rpms.
That's 17#'s of TQ difference or about 25% TQ more in the normal riding range.

Also above the 4500rpms its about 5#'s of TQ better.

I will add that when the Bike with BSL's got to about 3k it came on like a Four barrel kicked in till about 4k..

Even if U don't change Ur pipes Ur gonna have a big smile on Ur face..

Make sure to add adjustable push rods to the mix, not sure your year of bike but, if it's older you will need beehive springs for those cams too. I went with the se cam plate/oil pump set up on mine, very happy with it. I'd look at fuel moto, hillside, & gmr performance, they have proven "kits" that are going to work together. I went with gmr 98" jugs, stage 3 heads, w/ comp releases, smith bros pushrods, Andrews 37 cam & all I can say is she is scary fast.
