are these units plug and play? the description is a little confusing.

A SMALL amount of jockeying around with a plug from the ECU as it is programmed, other than that, plug and play.

I have that exact speedo on mine (aluminum face), and didn't have to do anything but take the old one out and put the new one in. It auto loads in the milage and programming for newer bikes.
Love mine.

I'm with my buddy PowerDude. Have same exact one and it was plug n play. Programs itself. Easy install, I like mine a lot.
