Torque arm
Anyone have or using a Torque arm? Any pictures? I want to clean up that side of the bike a little more while it's down and to "shore" up the opposite side of the primary side of the bike but I don't much care for just those covers that just run between the motor and tranny. The cover also offers me no support. I know many will say I don't need it but it is for looks as much as for support. Also, I have the SE 6 speed but I am assuming that the bolt up pattern is the same, would that be correct too? I will say this, for 300 bucks putting my 2nd chrome cover piece on is not totally out of the question as of yet too. Putting nothing on is still an option as well. I have just really tried to stay away from any kind of chrome cover's. I guess thats why I would like to see a few pictures of both if at all possible. My apes that I'm ordering, I'm going to internal wiring as well. Any tips? What all is involved when going to a Hyd. clutch, have you gone to it and if so any troubles with anything rubbing overtime on the inside, like wire on wire or cable against the bars themselves ? Are internals in any way pita? I do prefer a "cleaned up" look but not at the price of being a pita. Thanks in advance for replies, pics and advice. Of all I have ever ridden over the years I have ZERO experience with apes. I also thought I read somewhere Carlini came out with riser's that are only 1/2 in height, true? 16" 1.5" Carlini flying apes are my final decision, at least for today.
