how to changing shocks

I would like to.add 422 shocks whats involved? can I just change one shock at a time and not put bike on a lift?

If they are the same length just one at a time. If longer or shorter you'll have to put the bike on a lift so you can manipulate the wheel height.

It's easier if you put the bike on a lift and use some blocks under the rear tire to take the tension off.. it's just 1 bolt and a few locknuts/washers per shock.. takes hardly any time at all.

I would venture to say a jack is required. First, the rear shock bolts are superman tight and I don't think you'd have enough room to get a good swing at them with the bike on the ground. Also there is the tension issue. Totally worth the $100 investment in a basic jack and some 4x4 blocks. IMHO.

My guess is the 422s are longer than stock, hence their height adjustability. So you're probably gonna need a lift. Even easier with a both a floor jack and bike lift, too.

agreed - this is exactly what I did and it was easy

Used bike lift for the bike (make sure it is all the way forward on the frame so you can get to the bolts) then I used a car jack under the rear tire to adjust the height of the wheel. Just be patient and take your time, the instructions are pretty good plus you can call their tech support for help if need for adjust ability.
