Default This SUCKS!!!!!!

Went out to the garage to see if I have the metal to make a jack and looked under the sheets at the bike and the whole garage looks like a rain forest. 60° in feb with ALOT of rain tends to boost the humidity up. Now it looks like my bike has been sitting in the rain all damn day. Now I have fans on it trying to get the air moving and tomorrow I have to get the heaters going to dry everything out. This just ruined my night. Time for some crown.

That stinks. Often wondered whether a cover or sheets are worth the possible side affects. But all I have to worry about out here is dust.

Same happens where I am. As long as I keep the garage door shut it stays sealed up and dry. One winter I sealed my bike in plastic to avoid moisture haha. It worked though.

I just spent the day taking advantage of the 60° day to start ripping engine covers off for powdercoat. All day the bike was "fogged" up with condensation from having been so cold for so long. The gas that came out of the tank was ice cold too...

It's Feb already...?? I must be in some type of time warp.

I say, get yourself something to at least elevate the bike off the garage floor...even wood.

I agree. I thru down a sheet of plywood years ago and that alone keeps everything above it at least 75% dry. Plus if you have a suspected leak it helps locate it. Thankfully I dont need it for the leak aspect anymore haha.

I always keep the dehumidifier running in the garage, too much crap out there that I don't want to rust.
