Just reading this thread I went out to the garage to check my bike, there's plenty of melting snow chunks that have fallen off my Tahoe on the garage floor, lifted up the bike cover and it feels plenty dry...which is a good thing.

I looked at those bubbles but wasn't impressed with the quality. I'm in industrial ventilation and all our work is in plants. Most of the work is big 3 paint systems. They have areas called clean tunnels to keep dirt off the vehicles. We happen to build said clean tunnels and panels. I'll just build a room in the garage with panels like that then I can buy the granuals to absorb the moisture and not worry about running a fan all the time. The only reason I had the sheets on the bike is because of the dust I was creating in the garage. The joys of gutting the bathroom.

Yeah, went to storage unit and checked bike. All shiny, and dry. Washed and waxed before storing. Added the dehumectant bag. My cover is stock HD, never have condensation.

Everybody needs to invest in one or two of those. They really help with moisture.

You can also put Salt bags in each corner of your garage and that will help with Condensation.

Mine gets wet and muddy every time I get caught in the rain. Just washes off. So far it seems to remind me of a Timex Watch. Just takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.

The younger riders might not know what that means.

Put a 40 watt light bulb under your cover, that will keep it dry.

Years ago I had no Garage and thought I was a smart guy to wrap my bike in plastic and leave it on the patio. I wrapped it as tightly as possible and duct taped all the seams. Man the rust I had in the spring. I couldn't believe it.
I'll never do that again.
I keep them in an unheated garage and plug in the battery tenders ,no covers of any kind. Been tons better than covering them.

What I would advise all that use the absorbtion type of dehumidifier is you check that the stuf does not have any salt based ingredients. Some do and trust me you will start crying when you lift the covers in the spring.
I use a bubble, block the vent and put a small electric dehumidifier inside it. Works like a dream.
