i had the same thing happen to me.. my bike sits in my working garage and when i opend the doors today to pull a jeep engine i watched everything in the garage get a heavy condensation across it. i mean everything. nothing you can do about except have a climate controlled garage. no amount of plywood on the floor will stop the condensation when warm moist air hits a colder surface. water was dripping off of everything by the end of the day. we'll get cold dry conditions again tomorrow and it'll dry up by weekend.

Having the furnace and good drainage helps the garage with condense, don't have any moisture issues out there and it stays between 60-65 degrees.

I used to have moisture at the other house in the garage, think most of it came from not having good drainage in the addition.

Amazing what a few hurs and a fan will do. All dried off. Now ust have to get all the water spots off. Spots I can handle, water, not so much. Next year, I'm building an enclosure with a small fan.

I will trade you. Current temp here is -18 with 22 mph winds. Ice forming on my bike inside my heated garage.

I have mine in the garage without a cover on it, and it's been the same thing, so I doubt a sheet or cover makes a difference. It's so humid that as soon *** I dry it with a shammy it's wet again within 2-3 minutes. Pretty much anything chrome or painted is soaked. My neighbor recommended putting a space heater near it, but I thought to myself "being too warm is already what's causing the humidity in the air, isn't it?" So I've been going out and trying to towel it off frequently and threw an old cotton bed sheet over it for the time being. Tomorrow I'm going to go put a fan on it and see if I can keep the air around it moving, since that seemed like the best suggestion I heard in here.

I've never had an issue with the condensation my bikes or vehicles that I don't use in the winter parked in a cold barn. I go back to work on stuff and see on warm days the bikes covered in condensation but it's never caused rust or had any ill effects on any of them.

I kept an oscillating fan on 24 hours in my garage when I lived at the beach and never had any problems with humidity. Turned it off to move something and forgot to turn it back on. Just a few hours and it felt like a sauna.

FWIW....never had a cover on the bike.

If you put a paste polish on the chrome at least once a year nothing should rust (unless you wash it with a soap that strips wax) water spots come right off with a spring cleaning. Dont forget to change fluids, condensation in the case is the real trouble maker. A spray detailer works pretty good on chrome as well to keep a protective coating.

I have my bike in my parents separate 3rd car garage with my dad's Vette. The door is always closed, so I think that is what save me from condensation. I went over there on Monday to put my new plates on and the bike was dry and it was 60 and raining. When I breathed on it, it really fogged up quick though.

I was going to try this...but never got around to buying it....
