I have the Kuryakyn trigger levers and love 'em.
I used a piece of cardboard as a spacer for the brake lever.

I recently purchased some Drag Specialties chrome levers from the local Indy. Really inexpensive. They have a tapered end to them too that I like. Install was really simple. Makes a big difference in appearance in my opinion. For the cost, wish I would have done it sooner.

Can somebody please elaborate on how the cardboard spacer is used???

Exactly where/when in the process of removing the lever is the cardboard used???

BIG THANK YOU!

Robotech, those are awesome. Are they sharpened like the P1 blades? I thought about those but was concerned about them chopping my fingers off if I went down and they were hit by something in the process.

Before loosening the housing screws or the pin holding the brake lever, act like you are applying a small amount of front break. In the gap created between the lever and housing, stuff the paper in to keep the lever from fully closing. It's job is to protect the brake switch button during removal of the lever or to have access when changing or lubing the throttle cable etc. on non TBW models.
