Finally got my swingarm back from the powder coater, now its time to put on the new rear wheel and brake set-up.
this is a DNA fat spoke 16X5 with a 250 Avon
Running into a little issue with spacing. My brake bracket is a little too big and it makes the wheel have high resistance.
Shot #1 wheel off of bike
Shot 2 wheel on bike
Shot #3 top view.
So... I have tried to move disc in, not an option as there is not spacer.
Next move is to file down the bolts on the brake bracket and pray that this is enough space to make it line up.
Other thoughts before I take the grinder to my brand new Brake and bracket?
Nice looking wheel man. Been thinking about putting spokes on my rocker myself.
Anyway, that wheel is 16? I thought the back wheel on the rockers were 18s. I'm sure you bought the correct wheel that would fit the rocker.
How big of a an issue with the space are you having? Try grinding off some of the powder coat on the swing arm before you start messing with the brackets. I've dealt with powder coated parts and you'll be amazed how thick that stuff is.
My main issue now is that I can't get the belt to clear the tire.
Here is the fix I did for for the brake.
That bolt is clearing with no problem now.
Belt / tire not so much.
