Default turn signals

i recently purchased some bullet turn signals for my 1990 fatboy, the ones i now have on the front are under the passsing lamps and are the big round ones like on dressers they have dual filament bulbs. here is the problem they only have two wires and the new bullet signals have three wires any ideas would be helpful

Check the paper work that came with them. The maker should have included some wiring instructions and they will tell you which wire does what, but the odds are that theblack wire is the ground and the other two are for the individual elements in the bulb.
The paperwork should tell you at least about the other two wires.

Probably your old turn signals were single filament, and your new ones are dual filament. You can either just wire in the brighter filament, or wire both filaments to the one hot wire coming from the bike...

Hope you got the ones that will fit on your passing lamp mounting brackets. Check out how the old ones are wired to the loom, are there three wires from the main connector but only two in the turn signals? Take a good look behind your fork tins, maybe there is a third wire in there somewhere.
