Default Spinger front wheels

Can anyone tell me the difference between springer front wheels and all the other 21" 2.15's from softail customs and wideglides etc..? lots of 'em on ebay to fit 88 thru 99's at good prices.
Thanks

Its hard to say exactly what would be the difference. Wheels change on things anywhere from axle size on bearings to the machining in the hub to fit various bearings, to offset on centering that are different for many models. Usually the width of the wheel that mounts the axle is the same diameter. From there there can be many variances, but with some determination, there are many that can fit on a lot of different bikes.

I wanna say 96 was the first year of the electronic speedo but im not positive. Any how that woukd make a difference. Your best bet is to figure out your speedo situation, what size bearings you need, then of its single or dual brake. Once you know what you need you will have an easier time knowing what to look for. I went thru PM and told them my specs and they supplied me a perfect rim. Others could do the same but shop reliable companies. I got it and just had to machine the wheel spacers to make it work since a custom setup could have tons of different spacer possibilities (fork, wheel and brake)

I have a springer and my wheels are no different than any other. I just told them my specs. I swapped out the stock belt with a narrower one to fit a 280 and that was the biggest "variance" they needed to know. Just call up whichever company you wanna go with and and they can tell you what specifics they need.
