See that nearly solid rear wheel on the back of my Duece? Any guesses as to what bike it came off of?
Oh! When I said I haven't seen anyone put a 210 on ... I was saying I haven't seen it on a FXSTC. I have seen it on a Deuce... and from the sound of it, you're one of em. ha ... nice man! The Deuce looks good!
ty that was my concern. guess I will just be pocket empty for a few weeks again thinking I might just try the commander II next time when i have to replace the front tire also. how much are you selling the 200/50zr 17 for shipped to 94587
I'm on my 3rd rear tire since last June. The tire I'm on now (d401) has a lot of life in it still. The worst tire for mileage for me so far has been the metzeler me880. It literally lasted me 6k. (But it was one hell of a good tire in all conditions.)
Depending on how long this D401 lasts I might try the Michelin Commander II.

Here is another forum member Tx_outlaw has a 210 on the stock 17x6 wheel on his night train my buddy had one on his custom softy until he traded for his street glide looked good
I am at 11,000 miles on the OEM Dunlap's that came with it. They look like they will go to 15,000 miles. I am staying with them when I replace. The dealer is having a 30% off on tires on St Patrick's Day so I will get a set then to mount when needed.
I don't think that mileage can be matched by other brands. I also like that the front and rear wear at the same rate. I don't like have new on the rear and old on the front.
As far as width beyond 200 I really don't know. However I think the Michelin Com II will provide much better mileage than both. That will be a 200/55/17 and these are "high mileage" tires that have a harder rubber in the center and a softer rubber on the sides. The tires are bias ply. I ran them on my Dyna and they rock. One thing as they do not look quite as wide as say a Metzeler when you get them on the wheel. What I am saying is they seem to run a little bit narrow. I don't think this tire comes in a 210 as of yet.
