FedEx came by today and dropped off the goodies from Fuel Moto. They were packaged much more neatly and secure, but I reused their packaging to send back the cores (heads and cylinders).
I have pretty much everything I need now to get going. Looks like Saturday is going to be a fun day!
I share your enthusiasm, but dammit if all the streets in my area aren't still covered in snow! FML.
Going crazy here waiting for the streets to clear so I can go on a shakedown/break-in cruise. All I've been able to do is idle and give it a quick goose.
That's all I've been able to do with mine, too. Between rain and cold and the fact that I don't get home from work until after dark, nothing more than stare at it.
I'm just not taking it out for its first real ride after dark..just in case something happens.. like I get a piston through the groin.

Are you guys having them properly tuned for break in?
I know when I get mine back together I'm just starting it to check for leaks and everything sounds right.
Then I trailering it to valley racing to have Brian break the motor in ok the Dyno before he tunes it.
I might just be being **** about it tho.
He warned me if its to rich the fuel will wash the rings and the won't ever seat.
He then said if its to lean it will run how and cause premature damage.
Im just gonna let him break it in for me and then tune it.

I will be running from the map that I get from FM for this build. I realize I'll be leaving some torque behind with my true duals, but that's ok.
After I have it properly broken-in, then maybe I'll have it fully tuned. But, I just can't see stressing a new build on a dyno, until the break-in is done.
