I will be running from the map that I get from FM for this build. I realize I'll be leaving some torque behind with my true duals, but that's ok.
After I have it properly broken-in, then maybe I'll have it fully tuned. But, I just can't see stressing a new build on a dyno, until the break-in is done.
Same, and in about 500 miles or so I'll have it properly mapped and ran on the dyno.
I got an updated map from FuelMoto, and actually got it to download. Scott told me to cruise it for 10 miles, cool it off again, then ride easy for 1st 1000. Then I'll take it to a dyno. There is a certified Powercommander dyno at a local sportbike dealer I'm going to look into. Lend the place some class when I roll up on the Softail.
That's sorta what I was thinking.
He says he wants to break it in on the Dyno.
But I don't know how long he plan ok breaking it in before he starts running it hard for tuning. Ill have to call him and discuss it more
Im using CP pistons on my 98" kit.
I might try the copper pipe method posted in the link earlier in the thread to see if it can help me install the clips.
Did fuel moto supply flat top pistons?
Or any dome?
I know cp has 4 different ones for the 98" kit
