Well, I just got back from initial shakedown cruise. All I can say is.... WOW!!! Didn't get over 3500 rpm. Effortless power from right off the line. Just amazing. This is how it should be from the factory. No runs, no drips, no errors so far. I want to thank everyone for their tips, tricks, advice, and encouragement.

That is awesome news QC!

Here is where I wrapped up today. I had about 8 hours of work. The pushrods are done, and I rotated the engine - no binding

Everything is pretty much back together. Just have to finish up all the stuff that was pulled to get at the engine - no big deal.

Thanks, guys!
Looks awesome, Red!
Red and Dan, while you have access to them, put a wrench on the bolts that hold the transmission trapdoor on. I've seen in here that they work loose causing a seep. Sure enough, mine were not tight.

Thanks for the tip, QC. My bolts are good to go.

It's all finished now. I uploaded the new map from FM, without any problems. I should have my shipment of Amsoil soon so once it's here, I can add oil and see how it sounds.

Looks to be another week wacky weather. Not sure how soon I'll be able to go for a ride on the new build.

Oh, and I will say this...putting the clips back in for the pushrod tubes was a pain in the rear.
