I have a 2013 FLSTN and i was wondering if i could swap FLSTF flooboards from one bike to the other.
The reason i ask is i want to put Kuryakyn driver floorboard covers on my deluxe(FLSTN) but it says they do not fit it...but they fit the fatboy(FLSTF). Thinking i could just switch the flooboards and use the covers on the fatboy boards. Or somhow modify the existing stock base plates on my deluxe to make the floorboard covers fit. thanks for all your help
i think its just the shape of the boards that is different between the two. i doubt h.d. changed the mounting brackets. they tend to leave well enough alone unless a change is a must. you might look at the brackets in a catalog, and see if it lists them the same for both models...steve
