I did my first mod today with the help of posts on here. I put rush 2inch slip on's on my 2012 Deluxe. I called the company direct prior to purchase and no Mapping/Dyno required. They went on pretty easy and sound friggin' awesome. now it sounds like a Harley. It was only 21 degrees today and I worked in the cold, took a spin around the block........I love it!
Nice!! I installed mine on Tuesday night- 3" Straight cut with the 2" baffle. Woke the neighbors up when I fired her up, buy they sound soooo nice. I also have to agree with the posts helping with the install. A little PB blaster and some brute force did the trick removing them, new clamps on the install and good to roll in under an hour. I also installed new black heat shields while I was at it. Can't wait wait till ridin season.

put a set of them on mine this past weekend, sound great, put them on the ol ladys bike too,she loves them, just need it to warm up a bit,so we can do a good ride
I was just able to get the bike up to temp and take a spin around the block on her for the first time since install. Just got home and where the mufflers attach to the headers it is smoking pretty significantly and smells like burning plastic. It looks like it is smoking from under the muffler clamps. I used new clamps and made sure they were torqued to spec as recommended (60 ft lbs). Anyone have this issue or anyone know why? I'm thinking its just the coating burning off, but want to make sure there isn't a major issue or something i did wrong. The other other thing i can think of is i did have to use PB Blast to get the stockers off. I wiped the pipe real well, but there could be residue burning off as well. Any input to calm my nerves would be great. Thanks guys, sorry for the hijack....
