It's my bday coming up and the rubber on the back of my air filter is separating from the body so I'm going to buy myself a replacement. I like the old school look of the cleaner without a cover so I may end up just finding a replacement.
Anyone have any suggestions based on the look of the bike? Most all the chrome is getting blacked out eventually, so if you suggest something different, try and go with black.
I like the top one there. It's simple and clean. I was originally looking at the cone filters on the elbow pipe, but I kind of don't like the look compared to just a nice filter. What's a good way to protect them in the rain?

Down at the bottom you will have a choice to get a rain sock.
I ride in the rain a lot, and the filter will repel a light to moderate rain, but if it is a heavy rain, then a rain sock is a good idea. I keep one with me, and it take 10 seconds to slip it on.

I have a swing arm bag to carry it in. The clear cover one caught my eye as well.
I like the plain black as well, mine is just a simple V&H cover - it is just thinner than the one shown and slightly wraps over the edge of the filter, giving it a "smoother" look
