I bought an 06 Standard Softail from a dealer here in NC on Saturday. He handed me the keys and it had a fob with it. He said he didn't know what it went to but thats how the guy traded it in. It has four buttons numbered 1234 and no other markings. Any ideas?
first, it's nice to hear from someone from Clayton. I lived in Cleveland when I was a child and later went to South Johnston before I moved in my freshman year.
I'm betting the fob is for LED Lighting.
When I bought my 09 Heritage it too came with a fob with 1-2-3-4 numbers on it that didn't appear to do anything.
I replaced the battery in the fob and when I pressed the #1 my bike lit up like a blue Christmas tree. You can see some pics in "My Garage".
Look around the bike and see if you can find any LED light arrays.
