Default security system

I have a friend on another forum that asked me what his security option does other than the blinking red LED light. I said it disables the ignition system when it arms itself.
Was this a correct answer? Is there more to tell him?

Thanks all

That's pretty much what it does.

Default The Key Fob

If you try to move it without the key fob being present won't it also set off the alarm? Without digging out the owners manual and looking it up, I thought it set the alarm off also!

If you have the optional siren.

If you roll it real carefully and keep it level you won't set the alarm off.

I think it is a good idea to have that ID/pin in your wallet and the disarm procedure, might keep one from being stranded. I know it is a simple and straight forward procedure but my old brain may not pull it up when if I need to use it.

Can't type the sound a 12 gauge pump riot gun makes when you wrench one up into the chamber! I would hope that alone would be a deterrent, the 00 Buck rounds would probably do as much damage to the Tri and surrounding area as to the would be thief!

The sound of you racking in a shell into a 12 gauge pump will put the fear into anyone that hears it and they are doing wrong. I know I have an 870 Remington 12 gauge pump and it has a sound all of its own.

Another deterrent is the laser sight on the Crimson trace grips I have on my Kimber Ultra Crimson carry, bet I make them poop their pants.
