Default road 6 customs on bones

Does anyone have road 6 apes with stock cables. I'm guessing 12 would work but do you think 14 is possible. Thanks

I have 12's on my bones....didn't have to change any cables. But if you want to run the cables through the bars...you will have to change the cables.

Did you use stock risers? If so do you have a problem with the bars moving around at all? Thanks for the help.

Yes...stock risers. I am having some problems with slippage. I even cranked up past the torque spec high of 18 ft lbs to about 21 ft lbs. A harsh bump in the road would cause the bars to slip back slightly. I'm looking into drilling/tapping the risers and installing some set screws to eliminate this.

The bars are awesome...quality work and incredible price.

Default Road 6 on Bones

Installed 16in Road 6 Bars, absolutely love em. It changed the ride of the bike in a good way and i installed all new cables.
The stock risers are a problem, I screwed with them for a few months, installed helicoils and finally broke down and bought some quality Wild 1 Chubby risers, ...problem solved. Best of luck.

So I would have to get better risers and wire extensions if I want to wire 12 internally, the wiring is too short stock?

Definitely too short stock if you are wiring internally.
