Default As an interesting side note .....

I'm curious to know how many of you have given your Harley a name, and if so feel free to share with the rest of us.

I suspect after looking at the love given in the picture threads there is a lot of you!

My Deluxe is named Pearl.

Eleanor. yes, I did get it from "Gone in 60 Seconds." It took me a long time to get her and she was worth the wait.

Serenity. Because that's what I get from her on a nice long solo ride.

I'm not much for naming my vehicles, never have been. But recently while trying to decide which bike to take on a ride one day, my female companion suggested we take the "Goliath" one, meaning the Limited. Ever since that day my Limited is "Goliath".

And I think it's the perfect name for that monstrosity of a motorcycle.

Funny how that happens!

I was trying to elaborate to my wife how riding a Harley gives a sense of freedom, no matter where your going. She said, "Just like Capt. Jack Sparrow's Black Pearl" and it stuck...... Pearl it is.
