Default Deluxe Fairing

Any advice on selecting a fairing? I see the plain one for a like 300 bucks. I would like to have a stereo but how do you power it but the 1500 bucks for a Hoppe Sportzilla Fairing is quite a difference.

Make your selection carefully, there's an awful lot of crap out there!
Some of the cheaper ones are only half finished, and will cost you dearly when payng your painter, I have heard some positive comments on the Hoppe ones.
I have a Deadcentercycles Batwing and can only tell you good things about it, its gelcoat is so well finished that you could ride with it unpainted if you wanted, proper quality.
As regards fitting, it just uses a quick detach windshield kit that you fit to your passing light mountings, you then run a small wiring loom that's supplied, to the live and negative of your battery, and a switch wire to your ignition switch in order that it doesnt drain your battery when not being used. simple!
One minor issue that is has not been stated anywhere that I've seen, is that on a Deluxe if you have lower risers and wide beach bars like Burly's, then it wont quick detach, as it gets snagged up on the bars as your jostling it into position.
No big deal just means it takes a couple of minutes to remove it instead of 20 seconds.
the loom that is fitted comes with a multi plug, as does the fairings electrics.
