Just bought 2011 Hertiage, the security will not arm its self when i walk away from it.No lights flash,had to replace battery when i bought it.Is there anything else i can try so i dont have to take to the dealer.
It might be in "Transport Mode"?
In case you don't have an owner's manual with the instructions below is what is mentioned in my 2009 Heritage manual:

Transport Mode: Ř To Arm the System: ˇ Turn IGN key to ON and set the OFF/RUN Switch to OFF. ˇ Turn IGN key to ACC. ˇ Press both turn switches. Turn signals will flash once ˇ Turn IGN to OFF. The system responds with 3 turn signal flashes.
Ř To Disarm the System ˇ With fob present, turn IGN to ON. ˇ Set OFF/RUN switch to RUN to exit transport mode.
