Man, lot of France bashing here. Please read up on history folks. In the 6 weeks of the Battle of France, France lost around 100,000 soldiers. Very far from "the French just dropped their rifles and surrendered". The British were getting their asses handed to them just as bad, but they could (and did) retreat across the channel to safety. Until you got that **** breathing down your necks you don't know how you'd deal with it.
