i am trying to put a new wide glide 21"x 2.15 front wheel on my 2006 heritage softail, when pricing a tire and tube today i was asked what i was going to do about wheel spacers!!!!! wtf!! i was told that this would fit my bike (lol), is there someone who makes wheel spacers for this or am i going to have to have someone turn them on a lathe for alot of money?

Spacers are cheap to make, and if you can get the measurements you could just order some.. but yeah.. when it comes to taking wheels from any two different model bikes (Dyna Vs Softail, or even Softail FX models vs Softail FL models), there will always be differences in spacers. You should also double check that you have the correct sized bearings for the axle, too.

Shouldn't be that difficult or expensive. Mock it up with what you currently have, take some measurements if things don't line up and figure out which side you need to go shorter or longer. If your dealer is worth a poop at all, they should help you out with the correct spacers. My guess is that it will be closer than you think.
Thanks guys this gives me hope, I am waiting on the money to start flowing after this late winter snow has me broke as a joke!
