Default DeadCreek Cycle lowering kit......

Well I did all the reserch I could find on this lowering kit and all I found
was positive feed back for this kit. I went ahead and ordered one yesterday for my 06 Heritage. I hope that this is a good kit so I can spread the word around to other friends who want to lower there bikes as well. I can't wait to lower it,excited. If any one has used this kit feed back would be nice. Thanks again DeadCreek.

Our pleasure, Memo.

Thank you very much for the business. It's a great mod for your bike and easy to install. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. Post some pictures once you get it installed so we can all see how it looks.

Thanks again, ride safe.

Make sure you adjust your shocks too. If you haven't adjusted them at all yet, you'll most likely bottom out when you hit a nice bump riding solo and you'll definitely bottom out if you're riding double.

Good call, absolutely. The factory sets the preload on the stock shocks at the lightest setting. Depending on your weight, or if you ride solo or two up, will make the difference on where you should set your preload. Also, it depends on whether you use the 1.5" collars or the 2" collars. The 1.5" will be a little more forgiving.

I have the 2" on mine. I'll send you guys some good photos when I get around to setting up a shoot with the bike when it warms up.

I you google it several threads/articles will show up. Just need basic tools, a motorcycle jack, and the spanner tool. If you don't have the spanner, they're $10 at the HD dealer. I just got one about two weeks ago. If you don't want to do it yourself, contact and indie and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help you out and it won't cost you an arm and a leg like at the dealer.
