How about dropping it to the ground when you park it, but able to have it at any height needed to ride? I've got a Platinum Air suspension along with some Pro One 3* triple trees.

I'm just wondering why would you want to lower it to the bottom while parking it.

back again - the only negative I have with the air kit is the little switches (mini toggles) that are supplied. I would think for the money, they would supply something that would look or match more of factory look.

ICEMANNN - I'm not sure how much it lowers the bike. I didn't measure the bike at stock height before the kit. Sorry.

George C - I like the way it looks slammed all the way down. Dropping it is not necessay and doesn't happen all the time, only when I'm playing (watching people's faces when I drop it) or planning on showing it off.

Glad you started this thread Hammer02! Just getting ready to lower my '07, probably Burnout Cycles kit.

Let's see some more pics!

I am thinking 2" in back. Anybody have a pic of 2" lower in back, 0" lower in front?

dahctor you might want to rethink lowering the frt. also. The bike really handles much better with the frt down a little. The hwy. rain grove dance goes away the lower you go. Also going to a 90/90 or 120/70 frt tire does wonders for the wide glide handling.

that's a full 2" down with the prog. 413 shocks. You have to really tighten up the preload to get it not to bottom out if you ride two up. TxOutlaw can you post a pic of the switches,I wanting to get that set-up you have and wanting to see what the give you. Thanks

I'm tossing around the idea of lowering the front also. Not for looks, but to get some of the in-town easy handling back. It needs to be pushed into turns a little, and I would like to straighten that out.

What do you guys think of the look of a lowered front?
I like the way it looks right now, but I have new wheels coming, and the dealer will install them for me. It may be a good time to let them install a front kit..

Just my opnion George I don't care for the long up in the air front end look. The flatter the stance the better the handling, more so with the weight of the softail. I'm going with 2 under tubes on mine now. I've got the progressive spring kit in it now and it still sits a little high for me.
