Guys....love to see some lowered Trains. Slammed and raked is the look that I like but please post what have you along with details of what you used to lower it.

Bring it.
Dropped the back and front 1 1/2" with Progressive Suspension. In this picture it has a 5 Degree Pro One raked triple tree. (I went back to a 0 Degree to avoid the wobbles). The bike also has RWD fenders which I believegives it a lower look. Keep in mind if you ride 2-up you may not want to go too low.

Here's one of mine. I used the Alren Ness kit as well. It's sitting about 1.5" lower than stock.

My kit just arrived!!. Going on in the morning. Any pointers, lessons learned, etc? I'm using a jack similar to the one shown here. Any clearance problems - getting to the shocks?

Oh yeah....anyone know how to lower the front end of a Springer?

doesnt get much lower than this
burnout cycles kit.........simply bolts on

my jack is similar

put it as far forward as possible
i didnt and had to reposition it to clear the shocks

depending on how low you go you may want to roll the bike up on some wood to aid in removing the jack after the bike is lowered

Couldn't wait until morning. Did you have that Snapon torque adapter? Kinda hard to get those 3/4" bolts off the swing arm. Can't get a socket in there.

Of course, could always take the front off first and bring the swing arm down where I can get a wrench on those bolts. I'll try that.

OK, Burnout kit is on. Have to wait until tomorrow for pics. PITA to get the rear locknuts tight on the kit. By chance I had a 15/16 socket for the front nuts but no combo wrench that size for the back so had to use crescent. I only came down about 1 1/2â€. But looks good and feels like a good height. I have to wait to test ride too cause I got the tank pulled for another project. What did you use to re-torque the rear shock bolts? 120+ ft/lb?! Can’t get a socket up in there so I guestimated with gobs of locktite, a combo wrench, and a hammer.
