Project LowLux figured I would start a build topic
Always changing my bike figured I would keep it all in one topic. Purchased my first Harley last April. 06 deluxe, 6,000 miles all original except some Harley upgrades. Coming from a family of Harley riders my grandfather and both my parents it was bound to happen. Been building cars since I was 16, all Lowrider style, wire wheels hydraulics so it was natural too build it like they do in Cali.
Here it is the day I got it
After removing the horrible bags and windshield.
Also had a full led kit, it's gone now wasent a fan
Got an amazing deal on some baby cholos.
Installing shotgun, pretty easy job
Slammed
Wanted a stretched tank to match my fenders. Got this brand new factory Harley optional 2 inch stretched tank off eBay. Brand new. Ugly paint but it was nice.
Stripping down for winter
Test fitting new tank, need to trim the seat a tiny bit.
Added heal to toe, got tired of scuffing my shelltops lol
Finally upgraded to 39s also got extended bags
Control covers painted, shotgun switches mounted in covers.
La choppers cables all ran, internal wiring all done
Almost ready for paint
How she looks right now
Ya just going to do the orange to get me through summer, I was planning on stretching the fenders but ran out of time. So next winter it's getting flaked and candied.
