Default Fatboy lo vs Slim

I had decided to get a fatboy lo but when I went by the dealership today the salesperson showed me the slim and now I'm undecisive. I've test drove the lo and reallly like it but question the smaller tire on the slim. I'm a big guy at 6'2" and about 250. Thinking the bigger back tire of the lo might be better?

If you are 6'2", the Fatboy lo might not be a choice you will be happy with. The regular fatboy has a meaty back tire and comes with a very comfortable stock seat.

im 6 feet and i fit well on the slim. I also like the short cut fenders, looks meaner to me than the longer fenders. stock seat isnt so great though. Im looking at getting something different. I need a two up that looks and feels good. any suggestions?

Check out Corbin, they have a nice solo seat. You can get the passenger pinion that goes along with the solo seat. It's pricy but appears to be the best option.
Here's a link to mine on ebay. I'm switching to a Roadking.

Go with the Lo

But in all seriousness, go with what you like. I, personally, liked the bigger back tire. Some people like the more traditional skinnier back tire. I'm built just about like you: 6'1" and 250 lbs and my Lo fits me perfect. Both bikes have pretty much the same ride height and have a very similar look minus the fenders. Everyone asked why I got a bike that sat so low since I'm kinda taller... Are you kidding me? I LOVE being close to the ground! If I had the money I'd have the Shotgun Shock and ride this bitch slammed to the ground all day!

I bet you pretty soon that the Lo guys will tell you to get a Lo, Slim guys will say Slim, and then you'll get some guy to come in and say to just get a used Road King...

Im 6"2" and the slim fits me perfect, tire doesnt mean anything, only so much contact area and the smaller tire actually handles better, buy the one you like!!

Fatboy lo all the way for me.. I also debated on the two but didn't like the slim's back tire. (to slim.) I also liked the bars on the slim and the rear fender. Immediately changed the bars and now thinking of cutting the fender but not to sure of it.
