Default Vance & Hines Pipes

I'm about to install big shot staggered on my 07 softail custom. I was eventually ($$$) going to get a high flow air cleaner and a fuel pack. Does this all need to be done at once? I just can't stand the sound of the stock pipes any more, but don't want to hurt the motor by not installing filter and fuel pack at the same time as the pipes.

You can install the ehaust parts now. You just won't realize the full potential of the upgrade until you finish the stage 1 (AC and fuel pack)

I hear conflicting stories about pipes only or A/C only. I'm not taking any chances. Doing the A/C, V&H, and SERT all at once on the wife's Deluxe. I've called around several places... contact Cyborgcycles at 1-888-946-7278. The Big Shot Staggereds for the Deluxe are $475 with free shipping (P/N 17921).

I bought my pipes thinking the same thing. Tons of popping.
I ended up with PCIII, K&N 3909 intake and a dyno tune.

The pipes will change your mixture a bit. Not enough to hurt the engine, but enough to be noticed. Go for the SERT of PCIII, take your choice. It's a good thing for your bike. Once you have the SERT of PCIII, you can adjust your ride to suit your mods.

Enjoy the ride.
