Here are some more pics before we repainted the bike. The total difference between the 21" and 23" is only about 1.5" total diameter (29.14" for the 23" rim and 27.61" for the 21" rim). And I can tell you that if you go with the 18x4.25 in the rear, stick with the 150 tire. I went 160 and I get a very slight rub if I ride with the shotgun shock low. I am going to be changing out to the 150 when it is gone.
a 26" with a whitewall would be sick!!! Not sure if that tire is being sold yet.. seen pics of it only. I keep thinking about a 23 myself, but the cost to do it, trees/wheel/tire/fender, and to barely be noticeable over a 21 keeps me away. Not to mention if you're running a ww the 21 ww is fat and the 23" vee is quite narrow and doesn't match a rear ww as good.
A 26 can look great, I think it'll take more than trees to get it to look right. Local guy here has a 26 on a softail and he cut the neck. It's a bad *** ride for sure
So Regal--if you went 23---would you go with a different style wheel or try and find a match to rear wheel? I have always thought your Heritage looks great. Has a classy look to it...not sure if I would change a thing about it...but sometime the itch to mod is a strong one.
I am currently waitng for my 21 fatspoke to arrive and I will be changing out my wheels (whitewalls from DB), shaved front deluxe style fender, and shotgun shock.

Thanks Forge!
I couldn't decide, ultima kings in 23/18 are like $650 to your door. I like the fat spoke, looks more custom. I also like the traditional spoke look too, looked at a dna 60 or 80 23" too.
My biggest turn off in a 23 is the paint, I'll have such a hard time matching this. It'd probably be easier to change colors
lawnmower man, 26" front. wait till you get your bags and batwing on. then take a step back and look at it. every time you change something it makes something else look different. wrap fender looks good
Regal, that does look sweet to me!
Leccyman, Batwing's on Bags are painted and going to the dealer at the weekend to get assembled, when they come back next week I'll fit the Cyclevisions brackets and should be good to go. I'm really looking forward to it. gonna change the whole look, Gotta go 23'' though.
