What diameter is the stock banjo bolt up at the front caliper on a Slim?
I bought a 6 piston Performance Machine front caliper and the banjo bolt in that caliper is 8MM at the point where the hole is (above the threads).
Before I pull off the stock brake line to make the swap, I'd like to know if the stock banjo bolt is same diameter or if I will need a whole new brake line to fit the 8MM bolt.
edit... according to the parts manual, the stock banjo bolt is part # 41747-82A. But of course does not list sizes/dimensions.
I'd say they all use a standard size fitment, as there sold as a bolt on product.
I changed my calipers, front & rear to performance machine but at the same time changed to braided lines as well, so's to get the best from the calipers. I'd advise if you can, go with braided lines at the same time, one hell of a difference, more braking power & more feel.
