Nice. When did Sinister come out with the iDash? I am still hoping one day RWD will update their low profile dash for newer FB tanks. The iDash looks a bit bulky and a bit pricey, but nice to know there is a full dash for practical.

iDash would be pretty cool if I had an extra iPhone (with service) laying around.
As far as having an iPod in there, it wold kinda be a waste as you would only have the function of music, unless you are always riding in free wifi zone....

But cool and clean adaptation.

And I guess you have to change your iDash out every time the size of the iPhone changes?

Funny thing. There is less "stuff" on a motorcycle than in a car, yet I feel far busier on my bike. That thing is pretty cool, but I don't need more to pay attention to than I already have.

+1 We don't need anymore distractions because we have to look out for the cagers with their IPhones

They've had it for a few years.

$500 for that is way to much, plus it must be a pain in the *** if you have to charge it. Just buy a magnet or a clamp for a few bucks and put iPod in pocket when not riding.

Ya I agree. From the pics it looks like you need a allen wrench to deal with it each time.

Meh I got my toons on shuffle and in my pocket....good enough. But we dont have a full dash fro the newer FBs. I am tempted to buy a RWD low profile that can be shaved to fit instead. Even the HD full dash doesnt have the 10 and up listed for theirs.

Tething is designed just for this. Setup wireless or bluetooth tether on your phone, pair your iPod and listen to anything you want while on your bike. Wifi to go.

I like this but agree, it is a bit bulky for me. I would also hope that they would have thought of the charging issue and had something contained within, however it would be real simple to install a charging cord since power is already right there at the switch.

Believe it does charge, I'm looking at an isimple cord to do mine. It's a 30pin, RCA out and has +/- wires for charging
