And then there's the Screamin Eagle blinker fluid and muffler bearings - sold separately of course.

Definitely want to lean that motor out. I'd change the ECM first. jfwy .

Leave the bike alone till you know what you're going to do with it. Then check back before you do anything.

The o2 sensors in the exhaust pipe tell the ECM how to adjust the fuel to air ratio. Xied's plug into the o2 sensors harnes and trick the ECM to richen up the fuel mixture. Its a cheep and easy way to add fuel when you do a stage 1.

Just leave it alone until you can do all the stage 1 items at the same time.

Here's what I've figured out so far:
-V&H Straightshots or Twin Slash
-Arlen Ness Stage 1 big sucker
-V&H fuelpak
But will I need the XiEDs if I do the fuelpak?
thoughts????

I agree with others here who have said to wait, save and do it right and all at once. I also think after reading through many of these threads over the past year that a good and proper tune is lost on allot of riders. It's so much more than worrying about a 1 MPG gain or loss. A motor that is not tuned to the "T"'s is damaging. I have seen guys dump tons of money into their bikes then hesitate at the thought of paying a 100 bucks an hour for a Dyno. I am in the process of changing from a Python 2 into 1 to the 39" Samson true duals with removable baffles and I also already have the SE race tuner on it. I am sure I could get away with skipping the Dyno but would it perform at it's peak? Run at a 100%? No, it wouldn't. Think of yourself when you have a fever. You can run but just not as well and you feel like chit doing it. Running a bike with a proper tune and clean fluids are the BEST thing's one can do for their bikes. It's adds life and ton's of miles to one's motor's and tranny's. There just isn't a substitute for either one of those. It also takes ALL the guess work out of the equation too.
