Front Cover On Deluxe
Is the triple tree cover that goes behind the headlight on a 2012 Deluxe stainless or is it chrome?..I'm starting to assess what I need to put chrome sliders on, and if that cover is stainless, I'm going to change it out to a chrome one. It looks stainless to me cause it matches the cowbells..

I always thought it was **** chrome, that's why the deluxe front end kit didn't come with that piece. I know the rears are stainless as are the bells, I guess I was wrong.
Can't tell the difference though like okay said looks good as is.

My Fat Boy has stainless tins. I bought the complete Custom Chrome chrome kit off ebay for ninety bucks delivered. I haven't installed it yet as I am still waiting for chrome sliders to do it all at once, but holding the chrome tins up to the stainless, you can really tell the difference. I am happy I made the purchase. I just need to get the dang chrome sliders.

Don't know about the 12s but the ones on the 08 Deluxe are Chrome. Like you said, that's why the front end kits don't come with the fork cover.
