I finally got started on some of the work I have wanted to do for a long time now. I got the side mount plate bracket done, but didnt take any before pics. I figure most everyone here knows what the stock setup looked like. Its still a work in progress, and I will update as I get things done. Here is the before state of my '06 FXST
The seat I am actually going with. Its a stock seat off of a 2010 Fatboy. I like the feel and fit and it went well with my budget. I also think I like the no front fender look. Are the fork braces necessary if there is no fender? Or does it not really supply that much support?
