Ha Ha! I do! For three years I free-lanced for a local motorcycle magazine. I guess that feeling of the monthly "dreaded deadline doom" creeps up on me and I feel the need to put a fresh spin on things! Still, I am sure at least a couple of people got a smile out of seeing the picture of Ubu the dog...and isn't that one of the reasons many of us turn to the Forum in our day?
I saw you added the slipstream foot pegs. I bought some for my 2013 red breakout and put them on and they didn't seem like they were in the right position. The stock foot pegs on the bike (and the slipstreams on the CVO Breakout as far as I can tell in pictures) are offset down away from the rear brake pedal/shift peg. After I put the slipstreams on I was having trouble shifting because my boot wouldn't fit under the shifter without contorting my ankle. I had to take them off and put my original pegs back on it was so uncomfortable.
I really like the slipstream collection since I already have the grips and shifter peg on there. I want the pegs too, but I want them to sit like they do on the CVO. Anyone know what the deal is here?
