So I was told that if i but a 200 rear Metzler tire on a 18inch wheel that i might get a high speed wobble (shake). Has this been anyone experience? please share your feedback. My stock is 17x6.5.
I am going with a Metzler 120/70ZR19 front wheels wrapped with Metzler.
I put an 18" x 200 off of a 2006 Nighttrain on m 97 wideglide. Had to shave the tire down to about 190, but it looks cool and I have no wobble or any other problems. The stock was 18 x 180

why did you shave the tire? was it rubbing? or was it your choice.
I still want to hear some reasoning behind this. Did the person tell you it was related to the Metz specifically?
No he didn't. He just said that a couple of customers have reported that at high speed they have experience this issue on a 200 with a 18". Im waiting for the front wheel to come in. My desire is the 200 on a 18 but don't want to regret it.
