Default tires for the deuce

Well that time I need to break down and get tires. Bike is an 07 deuce.

What brand/model is everyone running?

I want to go 180 on the rear but will probably hold out on this time. Or am I better off going 180?

Have read thst the harley dunlop 180 will fit with no spacers. Is this correct? Or am I gettng into another ordeal on that.

Have no issues with the 160 on it now. Handles good. So dunlop avon metz..... what brand r u guys running and how is handling compared to stock tires

I'm on my third set of Metzler 880's. Guess you can tell that I like them.
Much better tires than the original Dunlops.

So have it narrowed down to the michelin commander 2... or the metz 880.

80/90 or mh90 front.... which is the same can a 90/90 front fit? Guessing its a bit wider?

For the rear stock is a 160/70... is the 170/60 same height? Will it fit with no spacers?

Default Other tire to consider

I put a Shinko Raven 170/60 on the rear of mine. (also a Shinko is on the front) They have been excellent tires and a heckuva' lot cheaper to buy. I love the way the Raven handles rolling into the curves. Very smooth.

I know it doesn't follow the popular Metzler/Dunlop/Avon mindset but I am very happy.

This tire shopping is driving me crazy. So here are my final choices

Metz 880s- mh90 Front, with either a 160/70 or a 170/60 rear

Avon Cobra- 80/90 front with a 160/70 or 170/60 rear but Storm 2 rear tire..

or really kinda liking the michelin commander 2s, in stock size. never beena michelin fan in the auto world... but not a bad looking bike tire

I'm running the 170 Metz on the back, no issues.
