Quick note to say what excellent service I got from the Captain. Order a crotch cooler from the other side of the world and it turned up 5 working days later. Gotta love the internet, gotta love a worldwide economy and most of all, gotta love good old no fuss service - thanks guys!
I think I might like it if it really helps but it would look awful on my bike. I got my pipes ceramic coated so I'm am hoping it knocks it down at least a few degree coming off of them when sitting. I know the motor is still sitting right there there but I am hoping this helps a little nonetheless.
I was thinking about the crotch cooler. Let us know if it works.
Studiopeg was having real issues with heat from her left side pipe. Here is her assessment of the Captain Itch crotch cooler (post #261). Earlier posts of hers in that thread show pictures of her cooler.
I haven't used them personally, but, the posts I have read about Capain Itch and his products are all extremely positive. Captain Itch is a sponsor of this forum.
Tbonetony06, From what I can see of your bike the crotch cooler would not detract from its looks. Contact Larry at Captain Itch about making a custom crotch cooler for your bike. Even with the ceramic coating you will be picking up the heat from those pipes, mostly on a HOT day, so the crotch cooler will help, plus it will give your bike some more of that "COOL" look.
