They do work. I used one all last year on a Fatboy.

I have a studded Capt Itch crotch cooler on my Heritage and a saddlebag cup holder. Yes the crotch coolers work really well and I live in South Florida so the heat is mostly always hot. After burning my inner thighs last October in Daytona on Main Street I ordered it right away. No repeat of burnt thighs on the toy run in December in similar conditions (stop and go traffic).

It's amazing how well it works! I wouldn't own another big twin without one!
