Can't leave till Friday at noon but I'll be there sometime Friday night. SFV to laughlin. Anyone planning on leaving around noon Friday from nearby? Otherwise I'm blitzing it at 90 the whole way.
I hit up JD. I wasn't planning on buying Shotgun shock yesterday since I just bought the wife new bolt on's. Cash was a little tight. But I couldn't resist. JD booth is right by the parking garage at the Edge Water. He has a huge space rental fee for the weekend, so I figured it was the least I could do.

Congrats on the new air ride. I wanted to ride down to Laughlin, but had to much other crap going on. Next year I'm going to plan a little better so I can spend a few days there.
Well, I will tell you guys a God honest story about my bike and why I asked about having them messed with while sitting out in a parking lot. I used to live in Pasadena Texas many years ago. I lived in an apartment complex with maybe 200 apartments. I had no garage but we did have car ports. I used to park my bike under the car port, lock my neck and putting a huge Master lock on my rear sprocket. About 2 in the morning I have someone pounding on my door. I woke up and answered the door and here was a guy, standing there on my porch just getting home from work and he asked me, are you the guy with the black Harley? I said yes I was, it was a 78 Super glide. He said when he pulled into the parking lot there were 3 or 4 guys lifting it into a truck bed. When they seen him, this guy started yelling and beeping his horn, they dropped it and took off. I thought, "You no good M*#@er F@*@er's. They did a little damage when they dropped it. Well, I got the bike fixed and bought another huge Master lock I put on the chain, the one on the sprocket and locking the neck. I thought SURLY they would never come back to the scene of the crime, tying it again having almost gotten caught the 1st time. Did you notice I said "the 1st time"? Less than a week after I got it back, again I have someone banging on my door. These guys didn't screw with no locks and there were only 2 of them this time and they new they couldn't lift it so do you know what they did? They pulled up, threw a big chain around it and took off DRAGGING it across the parking lot until they could get away from the Apt. and help to load it. When this person pulled into the parking lot they dropped the chain and took off like a bat out of H$ll leaving my bike there in the middle of the parking lot beat all to hell. That one cost me 2 or 3 grand and that was back in the early 80's when that was A LOT of money! They didn't care about any damage because they must have just been after the motor, tranny or what ever they didn't ruin to part it out. I was NEVER so mad in my life, HOW BALSY WAS THAT? You know, 3 or 4 guys can lift a bike and throw it in the bed of a truck and be gone in under 2, maybe 3 minutes if that. That people, is a true story so help me God. From then on, after I got it fixed, I sold it and bought a 75 MG midget. I knew I didn't have a place to store the bike so I sold it and the MG was a rag top so I still got to ride in the open air. There is NOTHING worse, IMHO, then a liar a cheat or a thief!
TBoneTony06, That's a crazy story.
One day these two dudes saw my bike and they said "you better hope it's out here when you leave." I waited for those two dudes to go into the establishment and about 5 minutes later I decided to leave. My bike would most likely been gone if I stuck around.
It was cool bulshitin with you and let us know your opinion of ride quality with shotgunshock.
The shotgun shocks are truly amazing. I rode 300 miles on the new shock with in the the first 24 hours. It made the biggest difference in the world. I was riding on the lowered shock collars & the ride was pretty stiff. I loved being able to throw the wife and the back and adjust the shock for a comfortable ride for once. Worth every penny! I'm happy that I listened to everyone on the forum. Your product is heads and shoulders above any other shock system out there. That's really comparing apples to oranges though.
