Help replacing pawl arm in 97 Fatboy...please...

Exclamation Help replacing pawl arm in 97 Fatboy...please...
Could anyone tell me if the entire tranny has to be removed to replace the pawl arm??

It can be changed with the tranny in the bike.

Thanks for replying Lakerat. That is what I have been told but was wondering if you could explain how or perhaps provide a link for reference. I need to get my bike up and running ASAP cause its "riding time" ...thanks in advance

Do you have a service manual for your '97 Fatty? If not, you may be able to purchase a PDF version online for that year softail.
