Default Getting Old

Didn't have much to do today. Took my Rush mufflers off (they need to be repacked, getting louder than I like) and put the stock mufflers back on. Kind of liked what I heard. I might be the only one running stage one, PC-V, and stock mufflers. Took it for a short ride and it wasn't bad at all. We'll see in a few weeks how I can live with it.

Gastonia? I used to live in Gastonia!

When I worked at ***'s Harley in Rock Hill, we did a Stage I for a customer's FXDB. He'd requested a dyno run so we did two, a Stage I with the stock mufflers and the second with S/E mufflers installed.

Both HP numbers were the same ( about 68 hp, 96" motor,) but the torque was 4 ft/lbs higher with the stockers than with the S/E mufflers.

Your not alone. It's a good combination.

OK.. I've had my Rush since 07,, in fact I was the first one who had them installed at our dealership back in 07, I did the 2''er, (cause I knew I was doing cams later), They (my dealer) had never heard of them.

Fast forward to now 2013.
Now since then I've put another 40k miles on our 07 Heritage and I still have the RUSH muffs on.
I have repacked them Twice, but they still look like the day I had them installed and I love the Sound of them.

Thats why I haven't replace them Yet, and the cost $$$$ of replacing them is NOT an issue. The wife and I just LOVE the SOUND of them..

SO---
If U call them and talk to a Rep They should/Probably=== Send U New packing for Ur pipes, Free...

http://www.epiflex.com/ Their NO is at the bottom...

I love the service I've received from them, They are really hard to beat.

In fact the last time they sent me a lot of extra's in with the new Packing. But I will say I've been a "BIG" fan of their Products And I have said it MANY-MANY times in here....

They now have a new way to wrap the Baffles.. its a double wrap that should/will last alot longer than the way mine came with the single wrap.

Very familiar with ***'s HD. Nice folks down there. Very good info. I didn't feel like the difference would be hardly anything either. Exhaust isn't as big of an issue as the intake changes.

Thanks for the info. I'll get in touch with them for sure. My Rush's have been great as well. Quality is hard to beat. Nice to have choices.

I noticed that when I received my replacement matting. Hope it helps with the longevity. Replacing them isn't a big deal on my wife's Deluxe since both baffles can be pulled without removing the slipons. Not so with my Heritage.
